Everyone deserves to live a life full of choice, connection, and purpose. Delight Care Support Services provides disability support services across the Gold Coast that are built around your goals, your routine, and your wellbeing, not the other way around.
Finding the right disability support provider is a deeply personal decision. You need a team that listens, respects your choices, and shows up consistently. That is exactly what Delight Care Support Services has been doing for over nine years across the Gold Coast and South East Queensland.
Our reputation has been built one relationship at a time. We do not use call centres or rotate staff through rosters without care. Instead, we match participants with support workers who share their interests, understand their communication style, and are genuinely invested in their progress. Every team member holds relevant qualifications, current working with children and police checks, and undergoes regular training in areas such as positive behaviour support, manual handling, mental health first aid, and cultural safety. We also welcome feedback and continuously adapt our approach based on what participants and their families tell us.
The Gold Coast is a diverse region stretching from Coolangatta in the south to Coomera in the north, and we are active across all of it. Our local knowledge means faster response times, better-matched support workers, and deeper connections to community resources that matter to you.
When disability support workers live in or near your suburb, everything works better. Shifts start on time, replacements are easier to arrange, and workers understand the local area, from accessible transport routes to nearby health services and community centres. We actively recruit support workers from across the Gold Coast so we can provide genuinely local support.
Our team knows the Gold Coast Health network, the accessible beaches, the wheelchair-friendly parks, the local disability sports clubs, and the community hubs in each suburb. This means we do not just provide support in the home. We help participants get out, explore, and connect with the vibrant Gold Coast community in ways that are meaningful to them.
We offer a wide range of disability support services that can be combined and customised to match your NDIS plan, your daily routine, and the things that matter most to you. Here is what participants across the Gold Coast access through Delight Care.
Support with personal care, meal preparation, household tasks, and managing your home environment, all delivered with dignity and according to your preferred routine.
Help to join local groups, attend events, visit Gold Coast attractions, try new activities, and build friendships within your community at a pace that suits you.
Dedicated support for participants living independently or moving towards greater independence, including skill building, budgeting support, and household management.
Expert coordinators who help you understand your NDIS plan, connect with the right providers, manage service agreements, and ensure your funding works hard for you.
Flexible arrangements including active overnight support, sleepover shifts, and 24-hour in-home care for participants with higher or more complex support needs.
Structured programmes to develop skills in cooking, public transport, communication, money management, and other areas that increase your confidence and independence.
We also provide specialist disability support for participants with complex needs, including positive behaviour support, psychosocial recovery coaching, and transition support for those moving from hospital, aged care, or family homes into independent living arrangements. Every service plan is reviewed regularly and adjusted as your goals evolve, so you are never locked into something that no longer fits.

We meet with you to understand your goals, preferences, support needs, and how your NDIS plan is structured.
We co-create a tailored support plan and match you with the best support workers for your situation.
Your support starts with regular check-ins to ensure everything is working well and changes are made as needed.
We provide a broad range of disability support services including assistance with daily personal care, social and community participation, supported independent living, support coordination, in-home and overnight support, capacity building, short term accommodation, and specialised support for complex needs. All services are available across the Gold Coast region and can be tailored to your individual NDIS plan and personal goals.
The best way to find out is to have a conversation with us. We offer a no-obligation discovery meeting where we learn about your situation, explain how we work, and answer any questions you have. There is no pressure to commit. We believe the right provider is one that listens to you, respects your choices, and can demonstrate a track record of reliable, quality support. With over 300 participants and 9 years of experience, we are confident in what we offer but we also know that fit matters.
Yes. We actively involve you in the matching process. We share profiles of available support workers, including their qualifications, experience, interests, and availability, so you can have a say in who enters your home and supports your daily life. If a match is not working out, we will work with you to find a better fit quickly and without hassle. Your comfort and trust are non-negotiable.
We understand that plans change, sometimes at short notice. We have a simple cancellation and rescheduling process. As long as changes are communicated within the required notice period outlined in your service agreement, there are no penalties. Our coordination team is available during business hours and we have after-hours contacts for urgent changes. We always aim to find a solution rather than leave you without support.
Yes. We have team members with specific training in psychosocial recovery and mental health support. Our approach is trauma-informed, recovery-oriented, and respectful of the unique challenges that people with psychosocial disabilities face. We work collaboratively with your mental health professionals and support network to ensure our disability support complements your broader recovery journey.
For standard requests, we can typically begin support within one to two weeks after completing an initial consultation and service agreement. For urgent situations, such as hospital discharge or a sudden change in your current care arrangement, we can often mobilise support within 24 to 48 hours. We always prioritise making the right match over speed, but we understand that waiting is difficult and we move as fast as we responsibly can.
Absolutely. We welcome enquiries from family members, carers, advocates, and support coordinators. Many of our participants prefer to have someone they trust make the initial contact. We will always seek the participant's consent before proceeding with any service arrangements and will ensure the participant is at the centre of all discussions about their support. We also support participants who communicate through alternative means or who have decision-making supporters in place.
Whether you are exploring options for the first time, looking to change providers, or a support coordinator seeking a reliable partner, our team is here to help. Reach out today and take the first step towards support that truly fits your life.
