Supported Independent Living, or SIL, is an NDIS-funded support that helps people with disability live as independently as possible. It includes assistance with daily tasks, personal care, and skill development within your home environment. SIL is designed for NDIS participants who require ongoing support to live independently, typically those with higher support needs. This could include people with intellectual disability, psychosocial disability, autism, acquired brain injury, or other conditions that affect daily living. The level of support is tailored to your individual needs, whether you require drop-in support a few hours per week or 24/7 assistance.
